Fees and Charges Policy |

Norwalk residents make significant contributions towards the operation of the Norwalk
Parks and Recreation Department. The income and property taxes are collected from residents
whether or not they choose to participate in our programs, parks and facilities. Therefore,
we take this into consideration when we set program and facility fees. We apportion others
an extra fee to put them on more equal grounds with residents supporting our operation. |

Refund Policy |

The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel programs or change
schedules due to the lack of interest or unforeseen circumstances. When a conflict does
arise, credit will be given to you by a Parks and Recreation supervisor for other programs
sponsored by the department. If credit is not sufficient, patrons must contact the Parks
and Recreation office between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm for further assistance. |

New Policy |

For a majority of our programs we are instating an additional $5.00 charge for any
registrations we take after our advertised enrollment period. We hope this will encourage
you to sign-up early and help us to avoid having to cancel classes with little or no
enrollment. |
