| Are you interested in becoming a certified lifeguard? This American Red
Cross course will prepare you to recognize an emergency situation and to act through learned
skills including: CPR for the Professional Rescuer / AED, Standard First Aid, Public
Relation skills and Water Rescue Techniques. You must be 15 years old to participate in the course and pass a prerequisite swim test (300 yd swim with breast stroke and front stroke; retrieve 10 pound brick from 11 foot water depth and swim back to side within 1 minute 40 seconds). The course is approximately 30 hours long. You must attend all classes in order to test for certification! |

Water Safety Instructor Course |

| Are you interested in learning how to teach others to swim? We would like
to give you the opportunity to learn. This American Red Cross program will train you to work
with 6 month olds thru adults and will also train you to teach Water Safety Courses for
children and communities. If you love the water and would like to teach others how to be safe
in and around the water, don't hesitate to sign-up for this course and become an instructor
in an ever growing field. A minimum of six (6) participants will be required in order for us
to hold the class. Call Niki Cross with questions at (419) 663-6775 ext. 30. A prerequisite swim test is required prior to acceptance into the class (administered on the first day of class). Must be 16 or older. |
