Norwalk Stingrays Summer Swim Team          

  Norwalk Park and Recreation is happy to bring the summer swim team back for another season. The program is designed for those simmers ages 6 - 18 years that are comfortable in the water and are able to meet the following criteria:
 
  • 8 years old and under - Swim 25 yards (1 length) continuously with the front stroke
    Over 8 years old - Swim 50 yards (2 lengths) continuously with the front stroke
  • Able to dive from the side of the pool
  • Are comfortable swimming on their back
  • Are willing to learn
 
    Dates: Beginning June 4
    Practice Times: Monday - Friday
6 - 10 years (11:30 - 12:30)
11 - 18 years (10:00 - 11:30)
    Registration: TBA
    Fees: Based on number of swimmers in household:
1st swimmer $ 75
2nd swimmer $ 65
3rd swimmer $ 55
 
    We require swimmers to be members for the season (quarterly pass):
    Taxpayer - $ 56
Universal - $ 81
 
    Informational Parents Meeting: Friday, June 3 (6:00 - 7:00 PM)

Stingrays Stroke Clinic
  A Stroke Clinic will be held again for one week prior to the start of the season. Each day will focus on a different skill associated with stroke development of the four main competitive strokes. The stroke will be a great opportunity for you and your child to ask questions and meet the staff that will be leading the team this year.
 
    Session: Monday - Thursday: 5/21 - 5/24
    Time: 4:00 - 5:00 PM
