Pee Wee Basketball (K - 1st Grade) & Biddie Basketball (2nd - 3rd Grade)

For the little guys!  Designed to help teach the beginning fundamentals.  We use lower hoops, and small balls for the youngsters K & 1st grade. 
Date: Saturday Mornings; Dec. 3 - Mid. February
    Location: Barnes Gym - ECC
    Fee: $32 member; $42 universal ($5 Late Fee)

Whiz Kids (4th - 6th Grade)

Boys and Girls in this age compete during the week after school.  We’ll shoot off the season with clinics beginning the week of Nov. 15.  Games and clincs will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. 
    Time: Practices, Clinics & Games 4:30 PM & 5:30 PM
Season: Through Mid-February

SHOE String Basketball (7th - 9th Grade)

S.H.O.E.  Stands for Sandusky, Huron, Ottawa, and Erie counties.  The four counties have come together to create a competitive league for those who are not playing for their school’s 7th or 8th grade team.  For those who want to continue playing basketball, they can join their community team and compete in the S.H.O.E. String league.  Every person who registers to participate will do so.   

Any child who lives in Norwalk and the surrounding area are eligible to register with the Norwalk Parks & Recreation Department.  Registration forms can be picked up at the Ernsthausen Community Center.
    Practices: Begin early December; Times TBS by coach
Games: January & Feburary
    Fee: $32 member; $42 universal ($5 Late Fee)

ELKS National Free Throw Hoop Shoot
 

Can you drain a foul shot?  How about 25?  Show us what you’ve got at the annual Elks Hoop Shoot.  The Norwalk Lodge will again host a local competition of this national basketball event.  Winners in each age bracket, separate boys and girls, will advance to the District Competition.

    Time: 1:00 PM; Registration begins 12:30 PM
