4th Annual Memorial Day Planting
The Huron County Master
Gardeners, Main Street Norwalk, and the City of Norwalk are sponsoring the 4th
Annual Memorial Planting Event on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 3 p.m. until the
work is done. The memorial planting project is an annual event where our
community flower beds on East and West Main Streets are planted with the help of
the Master Gardeners. Everyone wishing to participate in planting is welcome.
Sponsors can honor a loved one and help beautify our Uptown Norwalk Historic
District at the same time. With a donation of $20, you can sponsor an engraved
plaque featuring your loved one’s name that will be placed in one of our corner
flower beds. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. in Bresson Park.
