GREEN TEAM
The City of Norwalk, in partnership with local industry and area farmers, has formed a Green Team. The goal is to improve our community, our environment, and our economy through better use and understanding of green energy.
Team members include Mayor Sue Lesch, representatives from local companies including Norwalk Furniture, Pipo, Mayflower, and Sunrise Energy, as well as representatives from Humphrey Farms and Enterprise Hills Farms.
The group meets monthly. Each meeting begins with a presentation on a green energy initiative. The speaker will be followed by a general business meeting. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend, to listen to the speaker or to participate in the entire meeting. See the City calendar for meeting details.
