POLICE/FIRE DISPATCHER
The Norwalk
Police Department is currently accepting applications for full-time
Police/Fire Dispatcher.
Applicants
should have excellent communication skills. Multi-tasking in a
fast-paced environment with computer skills and the ability to
keyboard legible, accurate and grammatically correct reports are
essential.
Applicant must
be a U.S. Citizen with a high school diploma. Selected applicants
will undergo a comprehensive background and testing process to
include a polygraph.
This position
requires working rotating shifts and alternating days off. Starting
pay is $14.98 an hour with step increases to $18.85 an hour.
