The City of Norwalk is accepting applications for the full time position of Police Dispatcher.

This is a position tested under the rules of Civil Service. An examination fee of $20 payable to the City of Norwalk is required with the submission of the application.

Please note, applicants must complete the application form contained in the information packet. This form is specific to the Norwalk Police Department. The general City of Norwalk application for employment will not be accepted.

Police Dispatcher Information Packet with Application Form

The City of Norwalk is accepting applications for the part time position of Income Tax Specialist. This position is 30-35 hours per week, which qualifies the employee for health insurance benefits.  Position Description.

Position includes performing various tasks required to collect taxes and to process and audit returns.

Applicants must have completed secondary education or equivalent and have one year of accounts payable, accounts receivable, or other billing experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
