Fees

 

 

Basis of Fees:

Taxes paid to the City of Norwalk
* Income tax ($50 or more a year) with pay stub or tax form

* City property tax with tax form

* Residency in City of Norwalk with proof of address

 

Description of Categories:

Family
    Husband and/or wife and their children under the age of 18 or full-time college
    students under the age of 24.

Adult
    High school graduate to age 64.

Student
    Youth under 18 or full-time college student 24 or younger with ID.

Senior
    Person 65 or over

Senior Plus
    Taxpayer/resident 70+

Renewal
    Pass renewed at theCenter within 30 days of expiration.

 

Pass Procedure:

Form is filled out and appropriate fees are paid.

Receipt is given which can be used as proof until information is placed in computer system.

Computer assigns a pass number to each family member.

Stop at desk after 48 hours to pick-up numbers and be  programmed into the handscanner system.

 

Reminders:                                        

Proof city tax is paid OR proof of  residency must be shown each time fees are paid.

Fees must be paid at the Rec Center unless city tax proof is sent with completed form.

BRONZE
  2 1/2 Adult Fitness Cards (with a discount of $10)

Some corporations in Norwalk and the surrounding area have set up corporate rates with us.  These rates are based on their location within city limits or taxes paid to the city. 

 

Fees are either paid at the center or taken out of your paycheck, dependant  on the corporation

* Only an annual pass is available. 

* You must show current proof of  employment to qualify for these rates.
