Utility Billing

NEW!!!  View your Water & Sewer Bill on-line!! Receive your Bill via Email!!!
Beginning January 5, 2010, residents may view their water & sewer bills on-line.  You may also register to receive your bill via email, eliminating a paper bill.  To register, click on the link below.  To view your bill only, leave the Statement Preference at "Mail." If you wish to receive your bill via email, please change your Statement Preference to "E-Mail."  You will need your water account number to register.  The account number can be found on the upper right hand of your statement.

The City of Norwalk provides water and sewer service to residents and businesses.  Water service is required to be placed in the property owner's name.  Property owners are responsible for service and charges. 

Apply for water service at Utility Billing Office, City Hall, (419) 663-6740
24-hour notification required for changes in water service.
Utility bills are due on or about the 19th of the month.
Payment not received by the due date is subject to a 10% penalty and/or disconnect.
$50 non-refundable turn-on charge is required for service to be reinstated in addition to payment of past due amounts.

Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express, cash, checks, or money order at City Hall, Schild's IGA, Gardner's SuperValu, or in one of the city's night deposit boxes - located on the front of City Hall and at the front of the Police Station. 

Free, convenient automated payment option to pay your bill. - Simply stop by the office and ask for an Automated Payment Form, or download the form from this link:  Automated Payment Form.  Complete the form and mail it back to us along with a voided check.  We will automatically deduct the payment for your bill on the 15th of each month.
